Welcome!  Thank you for visiting Relaxing Touch's page today.

I am Charleene Magwood, Licensed Massage Therapist, Owner of Relaxing Touch.  I am a retired Army veteran who served our country for 21 years.  My passion is to serve people and it is my most humble desire to provide comfort and relief to my clients.

I believe a person must have compassion for people and compassion about what they do in order to help people feel better; especially someone with an injury or health condition.  I grew up around a lot of elderly and sick people and I witnessed how patients seemed to follow their treatment plan better when their care takers treated them with dignity and respect.  I knew I needed to be a part of the recovery process when I saw the effects a caregiver's attitude had on sick elderly people, people battling cancer, or people with other serious illnesses.  Therefore, I pledge to do my very best to assist you.

The mobile services I offer include: Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Oncology Massage, Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Corporate Chair Massage,  and Massage Parties.  I look forward to servicing you and being a part of your journey to rest, relaxation, and relief.

Most people only think of massage as a way to pamper themselves or people they care about.  However, massage has many therapeutic benefits and should be considered a part of one's well-being.  Massage cannot and should not be viewed as a replacement for your doctor(s), but as a supplement to your health care providers.  Massage is a cost effective way to cut down on your health care costs and time missed from work.

Please take the time to review some of the benefits of massage and call (210) 371- 2614 today to schedule your appointment.

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety
  • Enhanced sleep quality
  • Greater energy
  • Improved concentration
  • Increased circulation
  • Reduced fatigue
